MY PERSONAL COLLECTION: Pink clothes and jewellery

Here are my recent pink purchases in clothing and jewels.

Tiger top from Kmart for $7. I COULD NOT leave it there for $7!

Skull top for $15

Millers dress for $3! YES! $3!!!!!

Pink pj pants that I bought for wearing around the house.

Got these fab earrings for $5

And over easter I made extra bead bracelets for my pink butterfly set.

I also took these ten skull bracelets and...

made this really long necklace and added the extras on the earrings (which I dug out of my craft box from years gone by), and added them to the rings, bracelets and pendant necklace I bought off ebay.

STYLE NOTES: Fashion Notebook, create your own style

Another amazing style journal is the FASHION NOTEBOOK by Julia Stanton. It's quite amazing and I really wanted to use this one as well but had already started with my Moleskine Style Journal.

It has so many sections it's ridiculous and really goes into all things fashion and style, giving you examples of all sorts of fashion styles

Be Inspired

Festival Chic

Tribal

it gives you pages to put you own pics in or write or draw

Perfect Pastels

My Style

How to draw yourself

Colour Palette

Which fabrics

it even goes into accessories with shoes and so much more

I definitely recommend this book if you're young and want a fun book to draw in and make notes. It's more like a diary, or scrapbook style book and definitely suits the hip youngsters of today.

BOOK STYLE: Mr. Mystery invisible ink puzzle books

When I was a kid, many moons ago, I played with Mr. Mystery invisible ink puzzle books. Recently, after looking for them online last year and not succeeding in finding any, I came across them in my local Big W (like Wallmart) and squealed like a kid,  not only because they had all four, but because they were $5 each!!!!!

Mr. Mystery and The Return of Mr. Mystery

More Mr.Mystery and Mr. Mystery Line-Up

I've only opened the red/orange one as I'm too scared to open all of them, use them, and then have nothing left, so I'm keeping the other three at this stage as collectors items.

DESIGNER INSPIRED: How to find your own inexpensive version of Samantha Wills Butter Bangles

If buying copies or replicas of jewellery designs doesn't matter to you, then for a cheaper alternative to Samantha Wills' Butter Bangles, buy them off ebay where you can get other colours and sizes.

Here are SW's silver set which came out after cheaper ones were being sold on ebay

And the ones I bought off ebay not long after I went looking

 Here's her original gold ones

and my ebay bought ones

Here's pink and green ones from ebay

There is NO difference in design, metals used or crystals.

If you hate being ripped off with big "designer" prices when the goods are made in a Chinese factory then head to ebay and look under "crystal hexagon bangle", you'll find them there, and use phrases like crystal bangle, rhinestone bangle etc.

If you're into the design and NOT the designer, then buy them from ebay instead of the ridiculous prices designers charge for something made in the same Chinese manufacturing plant as everything else.
